RapidSwitch has a particular strength in providing high capacity, low latency, secure bandwidth. Theire clients range from streaming service providers, through voice over IP (VOIP) businesses, to high volume financial transaction processors.

RapidSwitch are among a select few UK ISPs that maintains a strong central datacentre presence, with staff providing 1st to 3rd line technical support at the data centre itself.

RapidSwitch runs on Cisco networking equipment at the core. To guarantee the highest performance at each point throughout the network, all routing in our network is performed using DCEF (Distributed Cisco Express Forwarding.) Rather than traffic going through a single core processor in a router, each router in our network has multiple processors to distribute the load.

RapidSwitch network to the Internet exceeds 52,000 MBits from a number of diverse providers, including Level3, Global Crossing, Deutsche Telekom and Tiscali.
